Rusch assigned to Portland

Cleaning up the flurry of roster moves: LHP Glendon Rusch was assigned outright to Triple-A Portland on Saturday, clearing the roster spot taken by LHP Sean Henn. Henn was claimed on waivers from the Yankees on Friday.

Rusch was 1-2 with a 6.41 ERA in 12 relief outings. He has 72 hours to decide whether to accept the assignment or become a free agent.
