2007: Making only his second Big League appearance of the season, right-hander Justin Germano throws seven shutout innings and allows only three hits and no walks to lead the Padres to a 3-0 victory over St. Louis at PETCO Park. Scott Linebrink pitches a scoreless eighth, and Trevor Hoffman takes care of the ninth for his 10th save of the season, No. 492 of his career.
