Kouzmanoff with Blue Angels

As promised, here are some pics from Padres third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff's ride-along with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels on Wednesday. Kouzmanoff flew out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar with Lt. Frank Weisser for about 45 minutes in a Boeing F/A-18 Hornet.

During one of the maneuvers, Weisser piloted the plane to a gravitational force of seven Gs.

Sorry, no photos in-flight. Those video images you might have seen on TV are from fixed cameras on the planes. They don't let photographers climb into the cockpit for the stills.
