Right-handed starter Braden Nett, the Padres’ №20 prospect, allowed an unearned run on three hits and no walks with nine strikeouts in six innings for High Single-A Fort Wayne Tuesday — improving to 3–1 while lowering his earned run average to 5.10.
Catcher Ethan Salas (.196), the Padres’ №1 prospect, had a double in four at-bats for the TinCaps with a run scored. Third baseman Rosman Verdugo (.211), the Padres’ №17 prospect, was 1-for-4 with a RBI.
